  • Step 1: Drum pumps should be lubricated with an oil lubricant.
  • Step 2: Y-strainers in the machine should be cleaned.
  • Step 3: DOP fluid on the proportioning pump should be changed.
  • Step 4: The gun should be stripped down and cleaned.
  • Step 5: The parts can be soaked in solvent- like Dynasolve- to remove all chemical debris.
  • Step 6: The O-rings must be removed prior to soaking or they will dissolve.
  • Step 7: Replace any or all damaged O-rings.
  • Step 8: Desiccant air dryers on the A-side should be replaced.
  • Step 9: Air dryers can be baked at low temperatures to get additional uses out of them.
  • Step 10: Mechanical air dryers on the A-side air lines should be replaced- if applicable.
  • Step 11: Replace your hose covers regularly.
  • Step 12: Clean your spray foam rig.
  • Step 13: Finish.
