Yes you can. Although the use R-22 is being proscribed, it will take some time for units across the country to switch to R-4104. Refrigerant charges on R-22 have been stopped. But the devices with R-22 can continue to operate till they can last. Beyond that all users will have buy units compatible to R-4104. No new or imported R-22 will be allowed in the U.S. on or after Jan. 1, 2020.
